JIGJIGA — President of the Somali Regional State, Mustafe Omer, has concluded the evaluation of performance reports submitted by regional, zonal, and municipal government offices.
The assessment, which reviewed the 2018 Ethiopian budget year, was conducted over the past several days at the Garaad Mohamed Dool Conference Hall inside the Somali Regional State Presidential Palace in Jigjiga.
The annual review brought together executive bodies from across the region to present reports on their activities, achievements, and operational performance during the concluded fiscal year.
The performance evaluation forms part of the regional government’s annual accountability process, providing an opportunity to assess institutional performance, review progress made during the budget year, and identify areas for improvement in public administration and service delivery.
