JIGJIGA, Ethiopia — Somali Region President Mustafe Omer hosted a dinner reception for the Siti Zone football team following its victory in the 13th Somali Region Zones Football Tournament.
The reception recognized the team’s achievement in the regional competition. During the event, President Mustafe Omer, together with businessmen from the Somali Region and the Republic of Djibouti, presented cash donations to the players in recognition of their performance and as an incentive for future success.
The Siti Zone team won the title in the 13th edition of the Somali Region Zones Football Tournament, an annual competition that brings together teams representing the region’s zones.
