On July 15, 2026, The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency General Bacha Debele Buta, received Her Excellency Ms. Jirusaya Birananda, Ambassador-designate of Thailand and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Nairobi, for a courtesy call today on the occasion of her assumption of duty in Kenya.
During the meeting, Ambassador General Bacha highlighted key strategic frameworks aimed at elevating the long-standing bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Thailand across a wide range of developmental and political areas.
On her part, Ambassador-designate Jirusaya Birananda reaffirmed Thailand’s strong commitment to working closely with the Ethiopian diplomatic mission to advance bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.
