ADDIS ABABA — The Adwa Victory Memorial hosted a delegation from the Military History Institute Prague (VHU Praha), led by its Director, Major General Aleš Knížek, during a recent visit to the memorial.
The Military History Institute Prague is recognized for preserving and presenting the military history of the Czech Republic and former Czechoslovakia. During the visit, the delegation toured the memorial’s exhibitions, viewing historical artifacts and artworks related to the Battle of Adwa before meeting with the memorial’s leadership.

According to the Adwa Victory Memorial, discussions focused on the importance of preserving historical heritage and strengthening cooperation between museums and cultural institutions. Both sides emphasized the role of historical preservation in safeguarding the legacy of past generations.

Major General Knížek expressed interest in establishing collaborative initiatives between the two institutions. Areas of potential cooperation include knowledge exchange, professional collaboration, and the sharing of best practices in museum management.
