The President of Ethiopia’s Somali Regional State, Mustafa Mohammed, cast his ballot on Sunday at the Garado Building Polling Station in Kebele 06 of Degehabur Town as voting continued across the country in the Seventh National Election.
Millions of Ethiopians began voting early in the morning, with polling stations opening at 6:00 a.m. local time. Voters are participating in the electoral process to choose candidates they believe will represent them over the next five years.

In Degehabur Town, residents of Kebele 06 were observed casting their ballots throughout the day at the Garado Building Polling Station, where election officials continued facilitating the voting process.
The nationwide election is taking place across Ethiopia under the administration of the National Election Board of Ethiopia, with citizens voting for representatives at federal and regional levels.
