The President of the Somali Regional State, Mustafe Muhumed, has conveyed an Eid al Adha message to Muslims celebrating the 1447 Hijri holiday across the region, Ethiopia, and around the world.
In his message, the regional president expressed hopes that the occasion would bring peace, joy, and prosperity to communities, while also wishing for continued progress and development for the country.
He also called on the public to use the holiday as an opportunity to strengthen social unity, mutual respect, and brotherhood among communities.
The president further encouraged residents to support vulnerable members of society, including the elderly and those in need, emphasizing the importance of sharing and solidarity during the religious celebration.
Eid al Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant holidays observed by Muslims worldwide and is marked by prayers, charitable acts, and communal gatherings.
