Ethiopia Selected to Host 89th International Sports Press Association Summit In 2027

The decision was announced during the 88th AIPS Summit held in Lausanne, Switzerland where Ethiopia was officially selected as the host of the next gathering.
Ethiopia is increasingly emerging as a preferred destination for major international conferences, reflecting its recent development trajectory and success in global diplomacy.
According to Neway Yimer, President of the Ethiopian Sports Journalists Association, the successful bid to host the event reflects strong coordination and joint efforts between the association and the government.
Hosting the 89th International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Summit is not only a source of national pride but also presents significant opportunities.
The event, expected to bring together hundreds of influential sports journalists from around the world, will provide a valuable platform to promote Addis Ababa and Ethiopia on the global stage.
