President General Tadesse Heads to Addis Ababa for Critical Talks

Addis Ababa – January 3, 2026: According to Awramba Times, General Tadesse, the interim president of Tigray, has headed to Addis Ababa this morning for high-level discussions with federal government officials. This visit follows a significant round of talks held two weeks ago with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and other top federal leaders.
The talks are expected to focus on resolving ongoing regional challenges, advancing the peace process, and addressing governance and humanitarian concerns in Tigray. This visit marks another important step in the efforts to rebuild and stabilize the region, as well as strengthen cooperation between Tigray’s leadership and the federal government.
