Lion International Bank Staff Donate School Supplies to Needy Students in Adi Mahamaday
Employees of lion International Bank’s Adi Mahamaday branch have donated school uniforms and shoes to 13 underprivileged students, reaffirming the bank’s strong commitment to social responsibility.
According to the branch’s staff committee, the donation amounting to more than 13,000 birr was voluntarily collected by employees to assist students from low-income families at the start of the new school year.
The initiative aligns with Lion International Bank’s broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals, which emphasize community development and educational support.
“Lion International Bank always stands with the community it serves,” the staff said in a collective statement. “This contribution reflects our shared belief in helping students pursue their education with confidence.”
Parents and local leaders in Adi Mahamaday expressed appreciation for the gesture, commending the bank’s staff for their solidarity and continued support toward improving the lives of disadvantaged families.
