Ethiopian Airlines Offers 20% Discount for Ashenda 2025 Travelers to Tigray

The announcement was made by Dr. Atsbha Gebreegziabher, Head of Tigray’s Culture and Tourism Bureau, via his verified Facebook account. The agreement, he said, was finalized following a productive meeting between the Bureau and a team from ET Holidays.
The discount, aimed at addressing common concerns over flight shortages and inflated prices during peak travel seasons, is expected to significantly ease travel logistics for both domestic and international visitors coming to celebrate Ashenda Tigray’s iconic festival of womanhood, unity, and cultural pride.
“This agreement is a timely and welcome step that ensures thousands of guests can travel affordably and comfortably to join this year’s Ashenda celebration,” Dr. Atsbha noted.
Ashenda 2025 is anticipated to draw record crowds as post-conflict recovery and renewed cultural renaissance take root in the region. The festival, which showcases vibrant traditional attire, music, dance, and spiritual expression, is widely seen as a symbol of resilience and unity for the people of Tigray.
