Abri Motors Provides Community Support During Timket Week

Abri Motors, operating under the Abri Business Group, has provided financial support to women veterans, families of martyrs, and young entrepreneurs during the ongoing Timket Week, as part of its corporate social responsibility activities.

In a message shared during the week, Abri Business Group Chief Executive Officer Abrehet Ayele extended Timket greetings and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to community support alongside its business operations. According to the company, Abri Motors has donated more than one million birr within this week to individuals and institutions serving children and elderly people, as well as to women veterans and families of martyrs.

The company said the assistance is intended to help beneficiaries improve their livelihoods, with a focus on supporting small scale businesses run by women and families of fallen heroes, and enabling young entrepreneurs to scale up their economic activities.

Abri Motors also recalled its earlier humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in Hitsats, where it provided 100,000 birr in support to families affected by hunger and displacement.

Company officials said the Timket Week support reflects Abri Motors’ broader corporate social responsibility approach, which emphasizes social inclusion, economic empowerment, and assistance to communities facing social and economic challenges.

Abri Motors has offices in Djibouti and branches in Addis Ababa and Mekelle. Alongside its electric mobility operations, the company says it plans to continue community focused support initiatives as part of its long term engagement with society.
