Abri General Business Group, Sets General Trading Sign MoU on Maize Supply
Abri General Business Group and Sets General Trading PLC have signed a memorandum of understanding outlining cooperation in maize supply, processing, and market development.
Under the MoU, Abri will procure and supply raw maize, with the specific type and quality standards to be agreed by both parties. Sets General Trading will process the maize, add value through milling and packaging, and prepare the products for the market.
The agreement also provides a framework for developing regional and international markets and establishing mutually beneficial commercial arrangements.
Abri General Business Group has operated for 18 years across sectors including healthcare, agriculture, import and export, construction, transport, technology, mining, finance, education, and entertainment. In agriculture, it is engaged in honey production, irrigated farming, and the production and export of meat and maize.

Sets General Trading PLC operates a flour processing facility. Company officials said the MoU is expected to strengthen raw material supply, enhance value addition, and improve market access. Financial details and the duration of the agreement were not disclosed.
